Our first ever A.L. Lotts Leopard Glow Run will take place on Friday April 1st (unless it rains and then it will move to the next Friday, April 8th)!
We have a fun day planned for the children with music, ice cream, and a very special emcee – our very own Coach Cross!
We are asking for families to obtain donations between March 10th – March 30th with all money due by April 8th. All proceeds from the Glow Run will stay in school and will help fund programs such as clinic, library, Science Masters, Art Masters, Mom’s anonymous, technology, playground equipment and much more.

Dog Safety-Tues. March 8th at 1:30-
Since dogs are a big part of our society, the American Kennel Club® believes every child should be taught how to behave safely around them. Join H.A.B.I.T. director Ruth Sapp, a local H.A.B.I.T dog, and Ms. Filtness as we talk about how we can keep our students safe around dogs.
Parent Book Club-
Join us as we read “How To Talk So Kids Will Listen” by Adele Farber. Don’t worry if you didn’t get a chance to read we will have a quick review before we talk.

Love and Logic Check In- April 5th at 1
This is a relaxed workshop designed to check in and see how strategies from this year’s Love and Logic workshop are working. Come ready to laugh, cry, and share your stories.

Join us as we discuss strategies and local programs to keep students motivated to read during the summer.

Help send our friends to the Special Olympics and provide a ramp for the Shrek Playground!
Each donation will go to help students attend the Special Olympics and provide a much needed playground ramp for our friends in wheelchairs.
We ask that a donation of at least $1 be made to the PTA in order for a student to wear a hat on Monday. If you feel led to, please give more, so we can provide for our friends.
It’s time to show our teachers, staff, and administration how much we appreciate all that they do for our families! Below are suggestions for ways to show our appreciation. They truly appreciate every gesture!
Monday – Words from the heart. Bring a simple note or homemade card especially for their teacher.
Tuesday – Thank you for helping us bloom. Bring in a flower – paper, real, or plastic fof their teacher.

Thursday – Stock the classroom. Bring in a classroom supply to help restock the shelves.
Friday – Favorite things day – Coordinate or share the cost of treating your teacher to one of their favorite things. You can find your teacher’s favorite things list in the office.
Don’t forget our encore teachers, office staff, cafeteria and custodians. They also work hard for our children!
